I don't have any new pictures of Riley, but here are some older ones showing our sweet boy's cheerful personality. Riley really is such a sweet baby. His smile can melt your heart, and we love to hear him laugh!!

We have scheduled our final post-placement visit with our social worker! Once that visit is finished along with all of the corresponding paperwork, we can begin filing our paperwork to finalize Riley's adoption! We are looking forward to March 11th because we will be dedicating Riley that morning at church. Riley's cousins (adopted from Russia) are also going to be dedicated that morning. March is right around the corner!!!

Can you believe it's already February??? Where did January go? We have had a very full month. The middle of January, Riley and I traveled to Virginia with my mom and two of my sisters. We went to visit my Uncle Kevin and met my Uncle Joe and cousin Juli and my Aunt Kay there, also. We had a very fun long weekend with all of them! It was so good to see everyone. The rest of the month has been full of family birthdays and other activities. Michael is coaching our church's high school boys basketball team, so we've been going to his games to cheer on the team.

Riley is getting SO big and grown up! He is now a walker!! In the last several weeks he has been walking more and more, to the point now where he really doesn't even crawl. He will be eleven months next week! We will have our final post-placement visit next month with our social worker and then we will begin the paperwork to finalize his adoption! We can't wait!!!
