Our first Christmas with a baby was wonderful! But, it's kind of depressing that it is all over.... I love Christmas--I love decorating our house, buying gifts and finding good deals, baking treats, spending time with family, and reflecting on the gift God sent us that first Christmas day. But, when it's over, it is such a letdown! I hate un-decorating and I hate when all of the fun is over!

BUT, we had a wonderful holiday! Riley was definitely more into the wrapping paper than the gifts, but it was extra-special this year to finally be parents!! We had a blast! I felt (and continue to feel) very, very blessed that God has given us this precious child to be our son. We honestly cannot imagine loving anyone more than we love our little boy!!

We enjoyed Christmas eve dinner at Michael's parents, who had invited my entire family over, too! Then, we went to my parents' house and all of the "kids" spent the night. We woke up very early Christmas morning and opened presents and then had a yummy breakfast. After breakfast, Michael, Riley, and I headed to Michael's parents. There we opened more presents and had dinner. Then, we played games and spent the night.

Two days after Christmas, we headed to the beach with my family! It is our annual trip and this year everyone made it for at least part of the time! It was so much fun playing games, eating, hanging out, swimming, and shopping!!!

Now, we are getting back into our normal routine. Here are some pictures of our holidays!!
