So...

while I know there is nothing cuter than PJ pictures...they were probably a lot cuter the first 5 times you checked in on us! I never intended to take a 18 day hiatus from blogging but I did and now I'm back.

We have been trying to enjoy each day of summer to the fullest...we've spent many days at our local water park. We've taken walks after dinner, enjoying the long days of light. We're soaking in the sunshine and trying to focus on the things that are most important about life.

Mary Kenzie continues to adjust well to our family. She has the most pleasant demeanor...very laid back and an overall very happy, smiley baby girl. I cannot believe that she will turn 1 in less than 2 weeks. She still seems like so much of a baby to me (in a good way!) :) She has just started pulling up on things and really crawling on her knees as opposed to scooting. Mary Kenzie still doesn't seem interested at all in walking but that's okay with me. She is cutting her 14th tooth and loves to eat!!

We just returned today from Michael's family's beach week. The kids had a blast with their cousins Austin and Jacob. We spent a lot of time swimming and playing in the sand. The kids slept SO well! They took super long naps in the afternoon--it was wonderful!
